Official websites

Where to find them

Pamukkale and Hierapolis are managed by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı). The site portal is muze.gov.tr, with information on opening hours, the Müzekart annual pass and conservation projects. The UNESCO World Heritage page is at whc.unesco.org for the formal listing and academic justification. The local museum administration also runs hierapolismuze.gov.tr for the on-site Archaeology Museum.

What the official sites offer

Information on conservation projects (the travertine erosion programme, restoration of the Roman Theatre stage building), academic research access, archaeological permits, the Müzekart annual pass, group bookings of 50+, and education programmes for Turkish schools.

How this site differs

This site exists to make booking faster, with a clearer mobile experience, in more languages, with combined tickets + transfers + balloon flights bundled, and flexible cancellation up to 24 hours before your slot. Tickets here include the same site admission as those bought at the gate. For institutional questions, research access, or the Müzekart, use the official sites.

Phone enquiries to the site administration: +90 258 272 2034, every day 08:00–17:00.

Official Website FAQ

Tickets, contact, and what is each official site

Is this the official Pamukkale site?
No. The official sites are muze.gov.tr (Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism), hierapolismuze.gov.tr (on-site museum) and whc.unesco.org/en/list/485 (UNESCO listing). We are an authorised reseller offering tickets and tour bundles in multiple languages with flexible cancellation.
Are the tickets the same?
Yes — both include the same combined Pamukkale + Hierapolis + Museum admission. The booking experience, languages, transfer-bundle options and refund terms differ.
How do I contact the site directly?
Through the contact forms on muze.gov.tr, or by phone to the site administration at +90 258 272 2034, every day 08:00–17:00.
Where can I read about the archaeological research?
The Italian Archaeological Mission to Hierapolis (MAIER) led by Pisa and Turin universities has been excavating since 1957 and publishes annual reports — search "MAIER Hierapolis" or visit unipi.it for the latest scholarly bulletins. The on-site Archaeology Museum also has a small bookshop with research publications in English, Italian and Turkish.
How do I get the Müzekart annual pass?
Buy the Müzekart (Museum Pass Türkiye) directly on muze.gov.tr or at the entry desk of any Turkish state museum. €165 for 15 days unlimited entry to 350+ Turkish sites including Pamukkale, Ephesus, Topkapı, Hagia Sophia (museum side), Cappadocia open-air museums, Troy and more. Excellent value if you're doing a multi-site Turkey trip.
Can I get press accreditation here?
No — press requests must go through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism press office via the official sites.
Where can I license images of the site?
Image licensing for commercial use is handled by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism directly via muze.gov.tr. Personal-use photography is free everywhere on site.
